It’s Time to Clear the Air about Whether Free Phone Tracker Apps Really Work
My website on free phone tracker apps is becoming more and more popular every day! To tell you the truth, I’ve been overwhelmed with how popular it has become. I’m currently getting over 2000 visitors to my free cell phone tracking website every single day. Who would have thought it? Definitely not me!
Surprisingly, one of the most common questions I get about free cell phone tracker applications is; Do they really work? I must get at least one email a day with the subject line along the lines of “Phone Tracker Free, Do They Work?” All of these people want to know if these apps really work or if they are some kind of a joke or scam.
I’m not exactly sure why they don’t just read some of the cell phone locater articles on my website because I think I’ve made it pretty clear that they do actually work for tracking people with their cell phones. I think one of the main things that is making some people think these apps don’t work is that they are trying to use free phone tracker apps that aren’t designed for their particular cell phone.
Important Information About Free Phone Tracker Apps
It’s important that you understand that if you want to use this technology, you’ll need to have a supported cell phone. My website has several articles on it about various free mobile phone tracker apps. Each of these articles will list the phones that are currently supported for the individual phone tracking applications. If you would like to see the full list of the tracking apps that I have reviewed on my website, you can do so by clicking here: Free Phone Tracking Apps.
Another problem is that many people just don’t understand what these apps actually do. Despite the fact that I think I’ve explained them pretty well here, I keep getting emails from people saying, “I entered the phone number in my cell phone tracker app but the app is only showing my location and not the location of the cell phone I want to locate.”
Unfortunately, that’s simply not at all how these apps work. You need to install the app that you want to use for tracking on the phone that you want to be able to track.
Let me take a second and try and clarify things for those who are still confused about what exactly these apps do. After you install a free cell phone tracker app on a cell phone, you can connect to the Internet and use the cell phone locator service’s website to locate the phone that you installed the app on. You can only locate the particular phone that you have the app installed on. As of now, it’s not possible to simply install an app on your phone, key in a phone number, and track it down.
Let’s Throw a Wrench Into The Mix
I should point out that there are a couple of services that don’t require users to install any special tracking apps. One such service is the Sprint Family Locator mobile tracking service. Those who use this service currently have the ability to track up to four cell phones. The conditions are that all of the phones must be on the same account. Another good reason to use Sprint’s service is that you won’t have to rush out and purchase new cell phones. Any mobile phone that will work on the Sprint Network will also work with Sprint’s tracking service. Sprint charges $5.00 a month for their service.
AT&T’s FamilyMap service is another service that will allow you to track multiple phones without first installing tracking apps on the phones. Subscribers of this program can track up to five phones for $19.99 a month.
What’s The Bottom Line?
I think you can see by now that these free GPS phone tracking apps do in fact work. You just have to install one that is designed for your particular phone and understand exactly what it is that they are actually designed to do. Armed with this information, I think you’ll be able to get lots of good use out of this technology.
I hope this article has cleared the situation up a bit for you. These apps do in fact work and they work amazingly well.
